YESTERDAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES THIS SEMESTER... YEAH!!
So last night could have been the most random day ever. So, I finally went bowling... After the last time where bowling ended up as an evening at chuckie cheese! So, it was Isaac and I, Andy (Isaac's roommate) and Jen, Charlie (the guys Pi kappa big brother) and Ashley, then we met Nan there. Only everyone piled into my car because they were so wasted. So Andy was in the trunk and the others, except for jen, were loudly singing odd songs and poking eachother. Haha, then we got to the bowling alley after a very entertaining hour at wendy's!!! It was guys verses girls. So, Charlie decided it would be fun to throw the ball from really far back, and he got strikes that way. Not fair. The only strike I got was when we bowled in a line. I used my left hand, couldn't see bc Isaac's hat is too big, he was holding my right hand and nan's right hand. haha it was so funny. Then Isaac started hugging everyone, and he wouldn't let me go, and saying he loved me. Hmm. Drunken people are sure interesting.
So, when I got back, I went to Pluto Rocks with KJ, Jenn, Leigh Ann, and Alli. That band was amazing at cover songs. They played an amazingly large variety of music. I wana go back.
Well, exams start soon, but at least everything will be done by Tuesday and then Jen will be coming down. YEAH GOOD TIMES!!!!!

We all knew it was ensuing quickly, but I still don't quite understand it. Mrs. Peck collapsed on Friday and is now asleep with Jesus. That is an odd saying for someone who loved Jesus on this earth. Because we tell little kids that the dead are just sleeping, but as we grow and study the scriptures more, we learn that they are not asleep, but rather they are praising the Father forever. Everything that hurt her in this life, the pain she had to endure is relinquished and her body is made perfect in Christ. Mrs. Peck, though not my official grandmother, was much more than just Jen's grandmother to me. She was family, and not just family that I had to love because they were related, but family that I loved unconditionally and simply.
If you know me at all, you know I'm not the most touchy-feely girl in the world. I'm a big proponent of the personal bubble and always have been. But Mrs. Peck invaded and crushed my bubble over and over again, and in the best possible way. Since my junior year in high school, she took it upon herself to teach me to be a good hugger. She would hunt me down at each service and hug me, whether I stood there uncomfortably, or started to hug w/the 1-arm quick slap on the back hug. Eventually, I came around and searched her out, and hugged her: a real, and not-forced hug. I hugged her because she first hugged me... Whoa, She was showing me Christ even through something as simple as a hug. "We love because He first loved me" 1 John 4:19 (thanks for finding that Nan)!
So, I guess all I can do is miss this wonderful lady, and praise the Lord for the impact she had on my life. I can only hope to be as influential for the Kingdom of Christ as she was throughout her lifetime. Praise God for this women of the Lord.

Yesterday was so fun! Around 6, Isaac, Leigh-Ann (and her friend Suzzie), Nan and Wade attempted to go bowling, but it didn't happen bc no lanes were open, so we went to Chuckie Cheese WHERE A KID CAN BE A KID instead. Haha it was so fun. I beat Isaac at race cars, but only once... Then Nan and I danced w/Chuckie! So after that we came back, around 9 I guess. So, then I decided to actually go to Isaac's Pi Kappa Phi party. So, luckily, KJ and Leigh-Ann came! Yeah for awesome back up... my heros! But it was funny to watch everything that goes on there. We drank Dr Thunder and played cards while everyone else was playing beer bong, which I might add could possibly be the dumbest game ever! What's the point of throwing that ball into a cup? haha. Oh well, it was fun and amusing.

But here's the song I've been listening to lately, its called THE REASON by HOOBASTANK:

"The Reason"

I'm not a perfect person, There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know

CHORUS
I've found a reason for me to change who I used to be
A reason to start over new and the reason is you

I'm sorry that I hurt you, It's something I must live with everyday
& all the pain I put you through I wish that I could take it all away
& be the 1 who catches all your tears thats why i need you to hear

CHORUS

I'm not a perfect person I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go That I just want you to know

CHORUS

I've found a reason to show a side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do and the reason is you

So, I just wrote all about that weekend w/Kristi and John and the comp lost the internet, and also the thing I was writing. So, basically we sat on some swings, napped, went to Dinner and kristi got crazy tired and was acting drunk!
Last weekend, I went home for Easter, which was nice. Can anyone believe that we have 2 weeks of classes left? what a fast year.
Well, I've just been busy lately with classes, homework, work, and playing softball. Also Nan got me to play floor hockey. It was fun, but prolly not something you should do with a cold haha. There were a lotta Pi Kappa Phi boys there, which was cool since I've been hanging out w/some of them lately. Whoa this year went fast...

Sunday April 4, 2004
This was the craziest weekend ever. Friday night, I went to the senior semiformal dance with Brian. Actually, it was really nice. Though it was like 40 degrees out and I had a sleeveless dress and sandals on and shivered, the ambiance was amazing. It was out on the cistern, and there were candles in all the right spots making it light enough, yet kinda romantically dark out. The dinner was amazing. Chicken, asparagus, salad, pasta... Oh oh oh and coffee! Luckily, after I was convulsively shaking from the cold Brian gave me his jacket. Afterward, we went and got some more coffee at Port City Java and walked around Marion Square even though it was like BRRR out. It was a suprisingly good time!
Friday/Saturday:
So John Parks and Kristi Kohl came down. Who felt the love? That's right, I did. They drove all night, and arrived in Charleston at like 5:30am. Whoa. So we napped for a bit, and then Kristi and I somehow ended up in the midst of the Cooper River Bridge Run, and got yelled at for not being official racers and in the way! Oops! :) So, we came back, and John was so cute sleeping we couldn't wake him. So we went to the Battery and waterfront park until he woke up. Then we all went to Folly Beach, brr it was cold. But it was amusing to watch Kristi kick the dead starfish, poor lil sucker! But a good word of advice: when there's a sign for FREE BOILED PEANUTS... STEER CLEAR! BLECK BLECK BLECK! What the heck was that trash? Not good. However, lunch at Sonic more than made up for it. Well must sleep, cant focus... But will write more about the good times later!
