I've decided... I LOVE MY FRIENDS! These people that I have met here in Charleston just make me laugh and smile so much. Last semester, this is all I wanted. God has truly blessed me this semester and I need to remember to Thank Him so much for this! It really is such an answer to prayer. This place was somewhere that I dreaded. Somewhere that was devoid of relationships and depressing. However, this semester has been such a 180! Life has improved exponentially. BCM has connected me to students who love the Lord and just make me want to seek Him more.
It has been really fun and rewarding to get to minister through sports such as basketball, softball and floor hockey! I hope the Lord continues to provide ways for us to spread His gospel to those who would not normally come and sit at BCM or anything else like it. Praise to the Father for connecting me with those who have a love and passion for the Lord and for Sports, and a desire to combine the two!
So, I really want to personally thank each and everyone of you... Nan, KJ, Ashley, Rachel, Kristi Ford, Leigh Ann, and %n! Thank you so much. Much love to everyone else who has impacted me this semester.
Thank you for helping me come out of my shell, for letting my true self show, for letting me become apart of your lives. Though I try to be funny, and sure it doesn't work all the time :) , I want you to know that under that is a girl... woman (?!?)... who cares deeply about you all, and will miss you incredibly over the summer. My prayer is that the Lord continues to strengthen our relationships over the summer and during the years to come. Let this summer be one in which we just cannot help but preach the Truth to everyone around us! Matthew 11:1 says "After Jesus had finished instructing his 12 disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee (Greek: In their towns)." We have finished our instruction from both BCM/Church/C of C for the year, and now its time... time to go to our towns, where ever we are from, and preach! So, in conclusion to my rambling I will leave with this simple message from John. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
